What makes me smile the most is probably the most common thing people would say: love.
I'm not just talking about the romantic type of love, I'm talking about love in general -- the love you get from your parents, your friends and pretty much everyone around you.
The feeling of being loved is amazing. It's like you're on top and no one could ever touch you. I feed of love and without it, I would be a mess.

friends, family, happy surprises, free time, sunshine, salt water, amazing views, new places, exercise, tackling new challenges...and such.
seeing a beautiful place for the first time, floating down fresh powder in the sunshine, driving to the beach with my friends whilst listening to my favorite jams, my team winning a game, the short and silent free fall between land and water, dancing to live music, going up and down from the bunker, riding my bike down any hill in San Francisco, oktoberfest, roller coasters, hammocks, the humor of my best friends, and kids on christmas morning. Case in point, Connor, age 7-ish: 
It seems a bit counter-intuitive, but I cannot stop smiling anytime I hear "Ready to Die" by Andrew WK.

Smiling is something I do because something is funny. Or I am about to laugh. I also like smiling to see if anyone else will smile.
